The Knights of Columbus is the world’s largest Catholic family fraternal service organization with 1.9 million members. It provides members and their families with volunteer opportunities in service to the Catholic Church, their communities, families and young people.
Our Council and its members support our parish and its ministries as well as our surrounding community at large. We provide a helping hand when needed, financial support where possible and, participate in a wide variety of charitable works whenever and wherever necessary.
Some of our parish and community activities we participate in include the parish Food Drive, School Breakfast Program, Keep Christ in Christmas, purchasing and distributing Coats for Kids, hosting Basketball Free Throw and Hockey Blast competitions for the youth in our local schools.
We also provide spiritual programs for our members and the parish such as Into the Breach - an apostolic exhortation to Catholic men, Consecration to the Holy Family, a Retreat for Men and Rosary/Adoration events.
Mary Mother of God Council 14446 was chartered on January 1, 2008. It is named after our parish, which was established in 1996. Membership Meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of every month.
Membership in the Knights of Columbus is open to practicing Catholic men who are at least 18 years old. For membership enquiries, we invite you to contact John Murphy 905-617-6631
