Eucharistic Ministers assist the Priest in the distribution of Holy Communion during Mass. Eucharistic Ministers are appointed for a three year mandate and must be confirmed and practicing Catholics. Training is provided to New Eucharistic Ministers.
An integral part of our Catholic Christian mission is to bring Sunday Eucharist to the sick and elderly who are unable to attend Mass. Next door to our parish is the North Ridge Long Term Care Facility with a good population of Catholic residents. We also provide communion to the residents at Post Inn Village Long Term Care Facility, Chartwell & Viva Retirement Homes. For further info, contact the parish office.
If you would like to become a Eucharistic Minister or would like further information, call the parish office or submit your name on the form in the “Volunteer” link of our website.
Schedules are e-mailed to Eucharistic Ministers. If you do not have e-mail, a schedule will be left for you in the Narthex.
