ANNUAL VALENTINE’S DINNER & DANCE – FEBRUARY 11TH, 2012. The Knights of Columbus, Mary Mother of God Council 14446 – 4th Annual Valentine’s Dinner & Dance takes place at Le Dome Banquet Hall in Oakville - February 11, 2012 – Early bird special $60 per person – $65 after January 21, 2012. Dance Music by Dave Hinton owner of DJ Central Music Services. Full serve Angus Prime Rib Dinner with Dinner Wine Included – Cash Bar. Door Prizes & Silent Auction. Special meal upon advance request. 2012 RELIGIOUS CALENDARS & NEW SUNDAY MISSALS ARE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE . PLEASE APPROACH AN USHER AND THEY WILL BE HAPPY TO OBTAIN ONE FOR YOU OR YOU CAN CONTACT THE PARISH OFFICE. CALENDARS & MISSALS ARE $5.00 EACH.
RITE OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION OF ADULTS(RCIA). The RCIA program is a process of the conversion of people responding to God’s call to join the Catholic Church. This process will involve a journey of faith leading to the Sacraments of Initiation which are Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist. These Sacraments will take place at the Easter Vigil. The RCIA process is for those who have never been baptized. We welcome you to explore this journey of Faith at Mary Mother of God Parish. If interested, speak to Fr. John Van Hees or contact the parish office.
PARKING AT MARY MOTHER OF GOD PARISH! Please observe the no parking signs along the driveway of the church. You cannot park on either side of the driveway closest to the church. Emergency service vehicles are unable to access the church if this area is blocked. You will be ticketed $100 by the Town of Oakville. You may park on neighbouring streets.
ROOM RENTALS: Our large meeting room may be rented by parishioners for special events for $250 (holds up to 100 people). Fee includes opening, closing, room set up (tables/chairs), cleaning services (garbage bags only) and full use of kitchen facilities. If you would like to serve alcohol, an application is available to obtain insurance coverage. Our room may also be rented for meetings – fee $150. Contact Brigitte Hughes at 905-849-7310 one month in advance if you would like to book a room.
