Catholic Women’s League

The CWL is an organization of Catholic women whose mission statements reads: “The Catholic Women’s League of Canada is an organization rooted in Gospel values, calling it’s members to holiness through service to the people of God.” Mary Mother of God Parish CWL is always looking for new members – as “volunteers”, we support our Parish, Catholic schools and various charitable organizations. If you are interested in joining the CWL, contact the parish office and come out to our next General Meeting to meet a group of wonderful women. You may also submit your name on the form in “Volunteer” link of our parish website.

The Catholic Women’s League of Canada, Mary Mother of God Parish Council Invites YOU…. to become a member, or renew your membership, for 2011. The CWL is a national organization, of over 95,000 women, rooted in gospel values calling its members to holiness through service to the people of God. In joining, you will be provided with the opportunity for spiritual growth and development, participation in social activities and charitable fundraisers, as well as the opportunity to take part and help in community, diocesan, provincial and/or national issues affecting you, your friends, and your families.  If you are interested in spiritual development, developing a social network, or are interested in contributing to charitable works or legislative changes, contact the parish office for more information or to join. Membership is $25.00 and includes the League quarterly magazine.  We look forward to having you join us!!

UPCOMING CWL EVENTS:  General meetings:    Tuesday, January 3rd, 2012- Guest Speaker:  Antonia Manguito Topic:  What we need to know about funeral planning.  All meetings begin with mass at 7:00 p.m., followed thereafter with the business portion and activity.  We look forward to the pleasure of having you join us.
