The Sacrament of Reconciliation is available Saturdays from 4:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Adoration of Blessed Sacrament
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament - Wednesday 9:30 a.m. to 12 noon in the Chapel.
Monday-Thursday 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Friday - 8:30 a.m.- 12 noon
The church building is open Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (except Statutory Holidays), if you would like to visit the sanctuary for prayer.

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION CORRESPONDENCE AT MARY MOTHER OF GOD PARISH
Is your child attending a Public or Private School in our parish community? Mary Mother of God Parish offers a Religious Catholic Education (Catechism) correspondence program. In order for your child to receive the Sacraments of 1st Reconciliation, 1st Communion or Confirmation, it is recommended that they receive ongoing (year by year) Catholic faith development. REGISTER TODAY for our 2014/2015 Season which begins in September! Stop by the parish office or call Marisa Patskou 905-337-2184, our Catechetical Co-ordinator. When registering please bring a current wallet size photo of your child. Program materials must be paid for in advance. Payment can be made by cash, cheque, debit or credit.
A parent Information Meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 10th from 7 to 9 p.m. All catechetical students and their parents are invited to attend. You will receive program materials, meet our pastor Fr. John Van Hees, our Catechetical Co-ordinator Marisa and our program teachers, and have all of your questions answered!
ATTENTION: Parents’ of students attending a Public or Private School currently in SK and Grade 4 or 5. In preparation for receiving the Sacraments of 1st Reconciliation and 1st Communion or Confirmation, a minimum of two (2) years is highly recommended to prepare. This means that students preparing for 1st Reconciliation and 1st Communion in Grade 2 are encouraged to complete Program 1 during Grade 1 and Program 2 during Grade 2 and students preparing for Confirmation in Grade 7 are encouraged to complete Program 5 during Grade 5 OR Our Catholic Faith in Grade 6 and the Confirmation program during Grade 7.
