Catechetical Program
Mary Mother of God Parish offers religious catechesis in the form of a correspondence program. Catechesis instruction is available to children enrolled in a Public or Private school and must be taken in order for the child to Receive the Sacraments of First Reconciliation, First Communion and Confirmation.
Families register for the program and obtain course material from the parish. Parents then oversee the completion of material at home and return it to the parish where it will be marked by our Catechetical teachers. The catechetical program follows a time-line for lesson completion. Programs of study are offered from Junior Kindergarten to the Secondary school level. Programs begin in September of each school year. REGISTRATION FOR 2012 opens from June 1st to August 31st. Download the registration form at the bottom of this site or register at the parish office.
